After learning the ins and outs of small business branding, video production and video marketing, many of my clients come to realise that videos are the way forward. If you want to reach the masses and communicate with your target audience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 a year, then video marketing is the way to go.
An equal number of clients, however, are shocked to learn that a single video doesn’t really do the job, that it’s not a one size fits all deal. If you want to get the job done properly, it’s an absolute must to invest in more than one video.
Speaking to your customer’s needs
Most business owners are very good in their chosen field of expertise. In order to effectively communicate what you do, you must initially speak more to your customer’s needs than about your product. If you don’t get this right, you’ll lose them right away.
To make sure you get this right, you need a skilled marketing professional, like me, to see your customers from the outside and position your business, script your message and create your content in such a way that it makes what you’re advertising or selling, relevant. By doing this, you have now won the headspace of your target audience and you’re communicating the right messages to it.
